Midweek Makers 11.23.22

A few more dropped off the list this week!  This is getting exciting.

Be Positive is now complete!

I finished the rescue quilt that my SIL found at a garage sale.  It was just a tope and some extra squares when she found it.  I surprised my SIL and gave it back to her.  Here it is in its new spot being inspected by inspector Zoe.

The lost large orphan block from the Star Surround QA at Happy Quilting has finally been found, quilted and finished.

I made more progress on adding hand stitches to the dresser scarf that my grandma left behind in 1975.

Our Elf on the Shelf tradition continues.  They all arrive today.  Chippy and Barbie proudly introduce their twins that were born this summer.  Oliver grew and is now toddler sized.

Cousin Blue and Rusty the Reindeer are also here this season.  Let the games begin.

We do have some elf rules -- don't hide the elves so much as we can't find them on a school-day morning!  We're not going to miss the bus because we are looking for elves.
If they aren't found, we are not allowed to be upset so that it ruins our day.
Owen no longer believes in Santa.  This makes these rules so much easier this year.  He gets in on the fun and hides the elves himself.  Only the person that hid the elves can touch them.  We don't want them to lose their magic powers!

I'm linking up with Susan for Midweek Makers here.

Love your Positivity quilt. Zoe looks like the quilt passed inspection. I always enjoy the elf adventure there.
