Slow Sunday Stitching 10.23.22

I'm still getting a few stitches here and there done on my Autumn Stamp Collection SAL at Pinker n' Punkin Quilting.

These are the last two stamps of the project.

I also need to stitch down the two sides of the sewn on lable for this t-shirt quilt that I declared finished on 10/18.  It needs to be in the mail this week to the owner.

She requested a blank label on the back.  She and her sister can decide what to put on it.  I also need to unpick that blue stitching on it that doesn't belong there.

Until next week, my friends...

I'm linking up at Kathy's Quilts for Slow Sunday Stitching.

Lots of memories in the t-shirt quilt for the recipient! Cute fall cross stitch project. I guess we all need to be thinking about Christmas projects now!

Your cross-stitch is looking great! I have many t-shirts saved from my son and daughter, but have yet to make their quilts. Someday. I really like the one you made. I especially like the column of smaller motifs down the center. Great idea! Enjoy your stitching.

You've done very well stitching those stamps, maybe next time we see it, itvwill be all done. I think tee shirt quilts are unique, full of special memories.

Another lovely Autumn Stamp in the SSS link up this week! I really hope I can get this one in the rotation next year. A blank label --- do you add your information as the maker to it before sending it to them to add whatever message they want to write for the receiver or will they add that to it as well?

You have made great progress since I have been gone, Kathy. Your Autumn Stamps are so beautiful. I can not tell you how much it means to me that you stitched along with me. Love the tshirt quilt. I have saved many of my girls' shirts in hopes of making one someday. Have a blessed week, happy quilting.

Your Autumn Stamp cross stitch looks like it is almost done. I haven't had much time to cross stitch lately. Now that I am trying to walk every day on my lunch hour that means I am not cross stitching and sometimes I don't have time before I start work. Add in being focused on getting my 12 hours of making sure I stand for at least a minute and clocking up 640 activity minutes a day takes a chunk of time out of my day. Getting the 30 minutes of exercise is not a problem since achieving the 640 move calories takes more than 30 minutes of exercise. Maybe once I get a few more quilt projects done I will have time to get back to cross stitching.
