WIP Wednesday 8.31.22

I've been cruising right along.  Another item came off my list this week.  I quilted a memory quilt for a friend.  It went on and off the frame lickety split.

I made four Ohio Star blocks for my Random Ohio Stars quilt.  (This is a free pattern by Bonnie Hunter.). All of the stars are complete now.  I need to cut some neutrals to space the blocks and then the row assembly can begin.

The quilting on my blue crib waffle quilt is complete.  It needs binding.  Oh which binding will it be?  Does everyone have a little bin of left-over binding pieces on the shelf?

I made a little progress on my Mystery Stamp SAL.  I'm working on learning how to get all the cross stitch "X"s to go the same way.

The quilting on my friend's large block patchwork quilt is complete.  I was only on the frame for a day.

I loaded my kites crib quilt onto the longarm frame and have started the quilting on it.  I love the Tweety Bird flannel piece that I found in my stash to use as a backing.

Our baseball team cebrated the end of the season with a picnic.  Our son is the one in the green shirt on the left hugging his coach while still holding hands with his best friend.  He's definitely a ladies man.

And so the teenage years part of the love story is full swing.

I am really enjoying the rewards of my flowerbeds.  Here's a cute vase of Xenias.
