You've accomplished a lot in a week! Teenage love, such angst. Happy stitching!
The memory quilt turned out great. The kite quilt has the same colors as your zinnias! Love those dark pinks and oranges! Oh my, teenage love! I bet it seems like it was just yesterday he was a baby. It freaks me out thinking about how time has passed. Your cross stitch is looking really good. Just keep practicing and your brain and muscle memory will eventually automatically have you crossing in the same direction without even thinking about it.
You accomplish so much! I feel I need to be more diligent in quilting. The heat makes me want to cross stitch and put the quilting aside. I'm working on the same mystery cross stitch. Pinker n Punkin is so very generous in sharing her talent. Love that blog. I have 3 sons, all grown up, but I remember those teenage years. They're growing into men but the little boy is still there too. I wish I could redo that time again. Guess that shows I'm getting old. Have a blessed day.
Yes! I keep all leftover bindings. I'm thinking of sewing them all together to make enough for a scrap quilt.
