House Day

Here's the house for this week.

I set a goal a few weeks back to make a house block for the Cabins by the Lake quilt that is on my long WIP list.  I really wanted to started something new, but I refrained.  Now I have four house blocks complete.  Here's the first row put together.  I wasn't sure how I felt about the color combos when I first started making them.  I think the black sashing and the green cornerstones are pulling it all together.

Cabins by the Lake is a pattern by Fons & Porter.

They're perfect! The black sashing really sets them off. And I love green for the cornerstones, too--so alive in a nature sense!
