This week I managed to sew an orange flower.
The school days are starting to dwindle down. Students will be in school Monday and Tuesday. The last teacher day is Wenesday, June 11. I talked to the teacher yesterday for whom I am covering her absences. She is returning on July 23, but she will need me numerous days when she goes with her husband for his medical journey. I'm relieved that she will be back and that I will only be filling in for her temporarily.
The poor dinosaur underwent a little armpit surgery this week. He is recovering nicely.

The children are fortunate that you have the ability to repair the animals. I can see that everyday teaching is more tiring than subbing. The hexies are looking very nice, happy stitching!
It sounds like you have quite the classroom, if the dinosaur needs his arm secured once more. My daughter is a full time teacher with numerous absences this year due to her need to handle emergency situations with her son. Although you are not filling in for her, I want to thank you for filling in for another teacher.
Lucky dinosaur! Good thing you can make those repairs. Blessings to you for filling in for a teacher - it's so hard anymore for schools to find good subs. After retiring from teaching I have not put my name on any sub lists. Enjoy the summer break!!
