Scrap Happy Saturday RSC19

We're home from our camping trip.  I worked in a few blues this week and finished a few pinks.

I found a simple scrap quilt that the blogger at With Strings Attached called Waffle Stamps.  This may be my new leader/ender quilt for a while.  I was inspired by this quilt at With Strings Attached.  Now that I am done piecing my Ohio quilt, I have tons of 2.5" squares in my bin.  All I need is a 32ish strip from the 2.5" strip box and a 10.5" block is born. This block is way bigger than the one that I found from the inspiration!

I'm linking up with Angela at SoScrappy for the RSC19.  Check out all the fun and CREATIVE projects happening there today!

A fun block to make and you'll have a quilt in no time, they are so big!

Oh, FUN!! Will you "catch up" on the other colors or just take this RSC project into next year? LOVE it! This may have to go on my list, too.

Wow, this is a neat idea for scraps! Hope it's okay if I "borrow" it.

That's a great block for tying together all the random 2.5 inch squares we all have! Thanks for a great idea!

I'm thinking the same as the others. That's an amazing quilt and would use up lots of scraps. Welcome back from camping. My girlfriend from Cleveland OH is camping this weekend.

Waffle Stamps looks perfect as leader and ender sewing, and makes a great block!

Hi Kathy, 2nd comment from me. Hope you don't mind but I've decided to borrow your idea for the waffle blocks. Keep it in mind for a later use up the scraps project perhaps.

Jenny -- I'd absolutely love it! Happy to pass along the inspiration. I'm actually considering making this simple block with 1.5" squares and strips vs. 2.5" as a leader ender project someday. Happy stitching. :)
