I'm happy to say my OMG for August is complete! I'll be linking up at Elm Street Quilts later in the month. Woohoo!!!
I moved to the grassy hill to get a better shot... Ick... the shadow of me holding my phone is there.
Ick... now there's a shadow of the bushes in the top... I should have brought my other camera.
Oky... getting better.
The one below shows the bottom driveway (which will be bull dozed s well some day) It has the old corn crib full of old tractor tires that needs to come down this fall. My son and I don't do it because my husband saves certain parts of old buildings to use inside the new house. It's so cool how he saves an old door here and a hinge there. His handywork is gorgeous... Somedey I'll heve pics of ll that. We are very sentimental!
I love the pieced back. The green binding pops on both sides. I'm so glad I went out of my comfort zone and picked the green! This quilt measures 85.5" x 100".
I searched back to October 14, 2012!!! and found these pictures for the Ugly Fabric Challenge.
Here are the fabrics I started out with that arrived from my swap partner...
I added these and just a couple of mauve's/maroons to it...
I'm linking up with Myra at Busy Hands Quilts for Finished Or Not Friday.
I'm also linking up to Confessions of a Fabric Addict for Can I Get a Whoop Whoop?

Looks like a great quilt for snuggling under with a cup of coffee and good book. Warm and toasty!
That turned out so well. It's hard to call a fabric ugly when it makes such a nice quilt.
It looks great!
I absolutely LOVE how this quilt turned out, Kathy!!
