WIP Wednesday 3.3.21 -- The One With More Starts Than Finishes

It's Wednesday already.  Oooops!  This week I had three starts and only one finish.  I promise there will be finishes in my future.  Here's what happened this week...

I finished the quilting on my friend's patchwork quilt.  I quilted it with a design by Urban Elementz called Dewdrops in the Garden.

I did finish my table scraps challenge for February.

I loaded my Sand Castles onto the frame.  It will be my March OMG to finish this quilt.

I love it when I have some large pieces of batting left over from other projects.  It was my machine, Dora, to the rescue to make some quick frankenbatting.  This machine used to belong to my MIL.  I'm getting to know this machine more and more.  It is quite handy to have in the longarm room.

Quilt cat, Newman, watched as I quilted.  You can see the ice still in the driveway.

I started a Santa Claus tree skirt.  These blocks too ALL day, but I LOVE them!

I was so excited to GO TO WORK on Monday!  My sister-in-law came over to spend quality time with our son and I took my crafting on the road.  I typically walk in the gym during my planning periods, but the gym was in use.  Glad I brought my cutting so that I could cut some 1.5" pieces.

Look at the bright lighting in this room!  It definitely brightened my spirits.  It was fun to see all the "smiling eyes" of the students that I haven't seen for so long.

I started a new quilt called Bricks & Stepping Stones (a free pattern by Bonnie Hunter.)  I made some sample blocks and started making red four-patches.  These seem to add up quickly during some mindless sewing.

I'm excited to work with GREEN scraps.  Green is one of my favorite colors.  I love all of them, but this week I'm working with forest greens so that I can continue to work on the tree skirt that I started last week (using those Santas above.)

This brings me down to 60 projects on my WIP list.  This is getting exciting for me.

Wow you are back to work! I realize schools are starting to open up as I run into more school buses on my way home from work. You have a lot of projects going on, but that is what keeps it interesting!

Great! You got out and to work! It is amazing to be grateful for the things we took for granted. My second shot is Friday, and I will be grateful to get out and go places. Love your courage listing all your projects.
