Sand Castles -- Quilted and Trimmed

The longarm quilting on my Sand Castles quilt is now complete.  It is trimmed.  It is my OMG (one main goal) to finish this quilt in March.  I am on track.

I quilted it using my Circle Lord giant template board called 7 Treasures of Buddah.  (I call it orange peel.)  Sand Castles is a Bonnie Hunter design.  I think I will stick with the RSC21 theme and bind it with a green binding.  This is one of my RSC quilts.

I love making four patches and this is a great way to use them. Love your quilt and the quilting is nice.

Thanks, Linda. I'm whittling down that big LIST -- so I can justify starting new projects. LOL. It's BEAUTIFUL and 50 here today. Hope the sun is shining in your neck of the woods.

Do you have a go-to four-patch pattern? I also made Go 4 It. I need another exciting 4-patch pattern to play with. I'll have to check my Bonnie Hunter books for a new one. The 4-patch bin is overflowing.

Thanks, Joy. I'd love to get that WIP list down in the 40's... I'm reaching for the low hanging fruit right now.

Your quilt is stunning, Kathy. You are such a prolific inspiring quilter. I love everything you do. Green fabric will look perfect for the binding. I can not wait to see it fully finished. Have a beautiful week.

Thanks, Melisa. I'm so happy the small white pieces on this quilt lined up the way they did. Whew. I will be happy to see the binding on it too.
