WIP Wednesday 3.1.17

Welcome March!  Can you believe March is here already?  Here's what I got done this week:

I had an AWESOME finish this week!  You can read more about it here.  It's my Sew Sweet Simplicity BOM quilt.  It's also listed for sale in my Etsy Store!

I longarm quilted it with my new template board called Double Bubbles.  The bubbles are perfect sized for a baby quilt.  It's from R&S Design.

Here's block 10/25 of Pat Sloan's Solstice Challenge.  It's called The Coffee Shop.  It's my favorite block so far.  I love the fabrics in it.  I only had enough of the white for this block.  That scrap is gone.  I'm linking up to Pat's blog here.

I sewed a couple buds like this down on my Slow Sunday Stitching project:

I played with some scraps for RSC17:

My snow drops are blooming (that's what my dad used to call them).  I don't know their real name.  These are usually our first blooms here in Ohio.  These are growing on a hill of topsoil that my husband dumped there.  They are growing accidentally (they were not planted there.)  But then nothing happens by accident.  God put them there to brighten my day and remind me of my dad. :)

I received happy mail this week.  I won  2 Bunny Panels from Scarlet Thread Quilt Co.  They are cute.  I took a picture of them on the clothesline but didn't have the SD card in the camera.  It's raining now.  I won't get out today...  Thanks, Melissa Cory for hosting the giveaway at Happy Quilting.  Wishing Melissa a speedy recovery as well.

Speaking of recovery...
I hit the trifecta at StatCare last night. I have 1) a sinus infection 2) Bell's Palsy 3) Strep. Whohoo...Let the good times roll. NOT

You've been busy and it's only Wednesday! BTW, your not alone in not having that SD card in the camera - now I check every time!

Lovely quilt. Pretty fabric too.

Yes, they are snow drops but I can't remember the Latin name for them. I have them in my garden here in the UK. Lovely to know you have them too. Huge drifts in the wild around here. Happy little winter flowers. :D
