Homestead Harvest Slow Sunday Stitching

Happy Sunday! More leaves and a few blooms were added this week to my 40" x 40" quilt.

I started this project in December, 2016.  The pattern is called Homestead Harvest.  Below is a picture of the quilt I am making.  I am learning applique.  The pattern is from the book Simple Appeal, 14 Patchwork and Applique Projects for Everyday Living by Kim Diehl.

You are getting there! You must be getting really good at doing leaves by now!

Your quilt is getting more beautiful each week. You may be learning applique, but you are doing quite well.

I really like this block. Such a neat idea to have pieced blocks as the background for the applique. This is going to be a lovely wall quilt. Blessings! villacrestfarm@gmail.com

I thought this looked like a Kim Diehl design. Well done.

Oh! I love this pattern. You are on your way to a wonderful quilt. (wallhanging?). I have to applique on a table runner and you are inspiring me to start on that project. Thanks. ;^)

Your applique looks great! I love all the berries in the pattern. You can never have too many berries in an applique project.
