Slow Sunday Stitching 8.18.19

Today I'm hand stitching a label onto my December Scrappy Stars crib quilt.  I finished quilting and trimming it yesterday.  I'm watching the movie "After".  I have my cup of coffee.  I'll finish what I don't get done after church.  Relaxed day after finishing SCHOOL SHOPPING yesterday.  School starts 8/21.  I anticipate this little quilt to be done on 8/20, so I put that date on the label. :)

I'm linking up with Kathy's Quilts for Slow Sunday Stiching.

Slow Sunday Stitching

Here's a photo of my happy back-to-school shopper.  He LOVES this day.

Here's me... I'm still not very good at turning off and putting away my phone after I used the camera...  The smart phone I really liked got wet over a month ago during a "pool incident".  I am still not used to this one and the settings it has... Oh well...  LOL.

So glad he is happy about going back to school! My kids love it too. Wishing him and you and great school year. Enjoy the relaxing stitching before the bustle of school starts.

I found a bunch of those kinds of pictures in my camera roll the other day!

Nice plan, church than relaxing with hand stitching. School shopping is a big deal. I have some soon-to-be-deleted opps photos on my phone also!

I used to love school shopping with my kids. I don't have to shop for them anymore, but I do dread starting working again. I have two more weeks though. We start after Labor Day.

You have probably finished the quilt by now, so I'll say congratulations! LOL
Love the selfie... I'm about as talented with the selfies... the photos never look like me!

LOL. I just can't figure out where to look at my camera. Just when I figure it out something happens and I have to get a different phone. Technology...

I'm thankful that I'm a substitute teacher at a high school most days that I work. I have my "go to" kids that fix my phone for me all the time. Even our 12 year old is better at it than me. He just can't figure out my secret lock on it... Ha ha for now.

They usually make me smile. Sometimes just seeing my kid's eye or my husband's ear makes me laugh out loud in public.
