WIP Wednesday 12.19.18

It's been another busy yet productive week.

I finished this embroidered bear crib quilt.  I remember working on it in the motorhome, at speech, at school, at bowling... It was a very fun to-go project!  It measures 39" x 59".

I found these leader/ender spool blocks.  I think they were a Bonnie Hunter challenge in 2012.  They will end up on my kitchen table when finished.

I finished Good Fortune clue #4.  Look at all these fun orange fabrics.  I see onion rings cut at a slant, flames, dots, batiks, solids, Santa hats, checks, stripes, florals...anything orange goes, even mice.

I had time to sort the orange 30 gallon tote.  Now I have nice folded chunks and yardage on one side and strips, strings, and hunks on the other.  Bring on the orange projects!

Since I finished Clue #4 early and had extra time for the week I whipped up a Batman pencil case for our son.  It's a nice stocking stuffer.  I used the Elm Street Quilts tutorial.

I took my green half chevrons on the road (to school).  I love this little mini iron that a friend gave me.  It worked perfect for this.

I managed to add just a couple petals to my Short & Sweet small quilt, pattern by Kim Diehl.

I finished this part of my cross stitch project.  I'm working on finding flowers and such to make it a little more cheery.  It will be in my sew-to-go bag for a while.

I took on two more customer quilts for the longarm.

I'll call this one Customer's Rail Fence (CM).

I'll call this one Customer's 4" Patchwork (CM).

Owen turned 11.5.  We celebrate HALF birthdays!!!

Hi Kathy! We celebrate 1/2 birthdays too! Half a cake and everything. HAHA! It sure looks like you had a very productive week. Eek - I haven't been in the sewing room barely at all and I have two quilts I'd like finished by the end of the year. I'm hoping for some good sew time after Christmas. Happy Happy Wednesday to you. ~smile~ Roseanne

What a busy girl you are. But it's not a chore if you love stitching, is it. I love the little baby quilt you have just finished, so pretty.
