I finished this beautiful embroidered customer quilt. All of the quilts that belonged to this customer (eight this time) have been returned to her. woohoo! I quilted it with my Circle Lord giant template board called Square Dance. It left a beautiful texture.
I cut out all of the pieces for another Pumpkins & the Beanstalk quilt (I had parts left over from the last one). This one will be the larger size. It's nice to be able to take projects to work with me.
Here's what the small one looked like that I finished last month:
All of my HST units are made for the Bonnie Hunter mystery, Good Fortune. Most are pressed
I got this far on quilting my embroidered crib quilt. Still working on it. This is my December OMG.
I finished the cross stitching on a stocking stuffer for my sister-in-law. Now to find a frame...
I put together my 2019 project list of twelve items. I hope to finish at least one item per month to cut down on my WIP list. You can view it here. I linked it to Judy at Patchwork Times. She will tell us what number to try to finish. SIX of my projects are from the Rainbow Scrap Challenges (RSC).
I did some major cleaning and re-organizing and sorting of scraps in my longarm room one day. That felt good. You can see all the bins in the background...
I also dug out my mother-in-law's sewing machine AND USED IT! She passed away a few years back. I think of her often. She was an amazing seamstress.
This was her sign:
I did not start any new projects this week. My WIP list goes down to 66 projects. I've had list in the upper 90's in the past.
