Binding is one of the WORST forms of slow stitching for me. I love to put a binding on by machine. But some quilts call for "fancy". Here I am putting the binding on the Underpants Project quilt.
And for all my slow stitching friends, check out the giveaway at Victorian Motto Sampler Shop! Gorgeous floss to chose from.
I am also totally motivated by all the beautiful projects that I see each week at Kathy's Quilts for Slow Sunday Stitching. Click by and check out all the other GORGEOUS projects at today's linky party here.
I started this project in December, 2016. The pattern is called Homestead Harvest. Below is a picture of the quilt I am making. I am learning applique. The pattern is from the book Simple Appeal, 14 Patchwork and Applique Projects for Everyday Living by Kim Diehl.

Your appliqué looks great! Will you be hand quilting this one? I love hand stitching the binding!
Wonderful progress ; it is such a lovely project :)
Your project is beautiful. I am looking forward to seeing all those HSTs too.
Congrats on getting the appliqué portion done! Great job and what a beautiful quilt you are creating.
Beautiful quilt, and will be even more so when you get your quilting done. I am anxious to see the pattern you choose.
I love seeing your progress on this quilt!
Great progress! This is a hard quilt to plan for a quilting design with both applique and piecing. I have no idea what to suggest... hope someone else has ideas for you!
This is looking terrific! It will be a real treasure! :)
Looks great. A suggestion is go to Pinterest and search this popular pattern and perhaps you will get ideas on how others quilted it.
It's so exciting that you are almost to the fast part. LOL This is going to be absolutely beautiful when you finish it.
