One Monthly Goal for May

My One Monthly Goal for May (OMG) will remain to finish my Good Fortune quilt.  Good Fortune was a mystery quilt designed by Bonnie Hunter.  It was last seen getting loaded on my longarm frame.

Then, all the quilting was finished!

Yes, I decided to add that green border to make the quilting easier on me instead of having all those little pieces and seams to deal with along the edge.  It's easier for me to add a piece of fabric than it is to just sew a line of stay stitching around the edge.  I quilted it using my Circle Lord giant template -- Loopys.

I found enough of this mint green print for a one-fabric backing.  I do like the texture of Loopys.

Hopefully I will find time this week for binding.  The label is made.

I'm linking up at Elm Street Quilts for the OMG May Goal Setting Party.

Yes, this was my OMG for April also.  It was also the challenge number to finish for the 2022 UFO Challenge at All People Quilt.  I have already finished the May quilt foar this challenge, so I will hopefully soon add aanother another finish to my list.

My Good Fortune is still at the point of being a top. . .but, I want to make it bigger to fit a bed. . I love your quilting and border. It is such a dynamic looking quilt! You are so close to a finish!

So close to being done! That was a great idea to add the green border to stabilize all those seams.

That was a clever way to avoid that stay stitching. The quilt looks great.
