Sunday Making

 Each Sunday I try to squeeze in some early morning or late afternoon sewing on a specific project.  I have been working to finish blocks for the Ice Lollies quilt (designed by Latifah Saafir).  I finally had the six ready to sew together into a crib quilt.  I really like the effect of the curved pieces.

I ran out of the blue background fabric (sort of).  The blocks have extra pieces in them because I had to piece the light blue to make it work.  I believe there are two different blue fabrics for backgrounds.
