Cabins By The Lake -- FNSI

Yesterday I was putting some things away in the longarm room.  I found a plastic project bag.  It's Cabins By The Lake.  I'm trying hard to NOT start a new project.  This one has been on my list for a few years.  I'm going to try to sew ONE cabin a week by scheduling it on my calendar.

This could get interesting.  There is one page of notes that I wrote around 2015.  I know I won the flannel layer cake that I am using for the main parts of the house.  Some of the pieces are already cut.  Weird that I already cut the cornerstones...  Hopefully it will all come to me what goes where.

I'm happy to work on this project since it has already on my list.  No new projects were started.  LOL.

I'm excited that our son is going on a church camp outing this weekend.  He hasn't got to do anything like this for quite some time.  I'm excited for what the Lord is doing in his life.

I'm linking up at Sugarlane Designs for the October FNSI here.

The house is very pretty, flannel will make it wonderful for winter! Hope your son has a good time at camp, you'll miss him while he's gone. Happy stitching!

That is a fabulous block! It looks big so maybe you won't have to make a gazillion of them! LOL!! I hope Owen had a wonderful time a camp. I hope he takes plenty of blankets since it is starting to get cool at night.

I like the cabin in the photo. Great fabrics, great colors that make me think of fall.
I hope your son has (or had) a good time camping!

Hope your son has a grand time. Cabins sound cozy and snug. I was pulling through project bags today also. I know made a spreadsheet in Google sheets to put all the projects in with columns for the different steps. Lots that need quilting.
