Cleaning the Scrap Basket

I only made a few 3.5" rail fence blocks today.  I cleaned up the orange scraps in the scrap bin.  I need about 900 of these blocks if I want to make a fabulous quilt inspired by

Cathy's Quilt -- she blogs at Sane, Crazy, Crumby Quilting -- Check out her quilt HERE.

I'm linking up for Monday Making at Love Laugh Quilt.

Cathy's rail fence is beautiful, yours will be too! It really makes me want to start another quilt. I didn't read Cathy's post very closely, just looked at the quilt. What size are you cutting your strips? Happy stitching!

Sorry, if I had read your post more thoroughly, I would have seen that your blocks measured 3.5". Thanks!

Those are pretty orange blocks. You have been making these for awhile so how close are you to the 900 mark?

I've been doing little rail fences like that too. I saw a quilt on Nan's With Strings Attached using the blocks and I started on making the blocks. It's going to take forever -- or close to it.
