WIP Wednesday 12.2.20

December is here.  I'm starting to be more productive quilt wise.  Here's what happened this week:

I finished my #Spidersewalong quilt.  I found this sew-along on Instagram.  Click the link here.  The pattern is designed by Lindsey at Pen + Paper Design.  I took this picture on Monday, 11/30/20.  Our son is wearing a light sweatshirt.

I definitely have another satisfied customer!

I'm really glad I got the quilt done before December!  It snowed the next day, 12/1/20.  I had to get my annual blood work and tests done.  We left the house in 4-wheel drive and in Carhartt coats.  This is the view going down our driveway to the road.  It's quite peaceful and magical.  It was a wet, clingy snow.

Our elves (Elf on the shelf) have been getting into a little mischief.  Poor snowman...

Baby Oliver hides in the catnip that I brought in from the garden.  I'm trying to grow it inside for the cats this winter.  So far, so good.

I worked on my Linen & Threads SAL while our son pre-bowled his three games for the week.  I am keeping him away from the league crowd and bowling at times when the lanes aren't as busy.

I made backs for Garden Party, got a crib quilt for a friend ready for the longarm, and found a big flannel back for Soul Searching.  My to-be-quilted bin is filling up!  This also helped me tidy up my sewing area so that I can be more productive with my piecing.

I currently have 59 on-going projects on my list.  They are separated into stages.  This seems like a lot of projects, but I used to have 93 items on my list.  I love the fact that it has gone down so much.

59 projects??? WOW, my eyes are as large as saucers. Kudos for bringing it down from93 :-) Love the strong and handsome spider :-p If grating the snowman's behind yields yummy shaved ice, I would support those naught elves :-)

You have had a busy week! I really like the spider quilt. One of these days when I am looking for something to do I might have to piece one.
