Wrenches Accuquilt GO! Baby Style

I saw a quilt with this block on Pinterest.  It is the Hardware Lap Quilt by Mari Martin on the Connecting Threads site.  I'm not sure how she put the block together.  I was hoping I could use my Accuquilt GO! Baby to cut the blocks.  I'm not thrilled with the fabric choices, but I love the block!  I only had to cut the center block by rotary cutter.  All the rest were done with the GO! Baby.

This big block measures 18.5" (18" finished).

Now don't pay too much attention to the colors/fabrics in this block.  It was an experiment too.  I was wondering what it would be like to use our old denim (cotton) shirts and flannel shirts.  Glad I did this little experiment because I really don't like the way everything stretched and the fact that our shirts are just too worn to make a quilt.

We're going to have to move our five year old from a toddler bed to a bigger bed SOON.  I bet he would like this quilt to cover his new "big" bed.
