RSC2014 - Blues - Picadilly Circle

When I signed up for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, 2014, I had no idea what I was going to do except use up some scraps here and there and just use up scraps of the color of the month.  I'm not that big into rainbow quilts.  But then the light bulb came on and I realized that I was already working on a rainbow quilt.  The color for January is blue.  I needed a blue block for my Picadilly Circle Quilt.  (I only have one block done so far and it is orange and I started on a red block but didn't finish it.)  So here's my lovely scrappy blue block for today:

I love it!!!  My favorite scrap in the quilt is the weiner dog fabric at approx. 2 o'clock.

This pattern is in Quiltmaker Magazine, July/August, 2013.  You can see a picture of it here.
I'm linking up for the first Scrap Saturday of the year (and my first Scrap Saturday -- ever) at SoScrappy  blog.  Check out how everybody else is getting the "blues" for the RSC14 here.

What a perfect block to use for the RSC. The quilt is going to be spectacular and I'll bet you easily get it done, one scrappy block at a time.
