Scrap Saturday -- Dark Blue -- RSC20

I decided to pull out an old WIP with dark blue in it for the RSC20.  I put together a pink backing for this quilt.  It will make a nice charity quilt for someone.  I'm not sure when I'll get in on the frame.

It can now be moved to the to-be-longarmed pile.  Woohoo.

Our school system has come out with a re-start for the 2020 - 2021 school year.  Either we're "ALL IN"  and our son goes to school five days a week with the new "safety" guidelines.  Or we keep him home for remote learning.  Decisions to be made...  I'll have time to think about it while I'm longarming today.

I'm linking up at Angela's Blog, SoScrappy, for the RSC20.  Check out all the fun!

You've got a tough decision to make about school. Quilting will be a good way to mull over the pros and cons. Happy stitching!

Have fun quilting that one! It always feels nice to get another finish in. Tough decisions about school for everyone right now - I don't have a long-arm, so do my best thinking when vacuuming, lol!

It's a difficult time for parents - I wish you well and I think that is a great quilt - mine sit a long time in that pile.

Good luck weighing your options. It is an extremely difficult decision. Yea - on adding another finished top to the 'to be quilted' pile.

So much to be considered. So many unknowns. Our school district hasn’t come up with a plan yet. At least not one that they are sharing with the public. I don’t have school age children or even school age grandchildren. But am concerned for the 2 great grandchildren!
I think your to-be-quilted project is a good one! Someone will love it!

Congrats on getting that UFO quilt top together, Kathy! Pulling it out for the to-be-longarmed pile during Dark BLUE month was pretty smart of you. Best of luck on your decision about school for O this year!

I was just eyeing my to-be-quilted pile the other day and thinking that maybe I'd better get on that...
Enjoy your stitching as you work things out. Best of luck in all you do!

That quilt is pretty and it would be good to get another one done. I can't imagine how hard it is going to be to make the decision about school. All you can do is make the best decision with what you know at this time.
