Big Winner! & WIP Wednesday 10.31.12

Whohoo!  What great news I received today that I won the October Block Lotto!  I will be receiving 48 split star blocks (actually 44 because I opted to keep the four that I made.)

 

I was happy to finish my Totally Groovy QAL quilt.  Though I was not one of the ten finalist, I am so happy with the outcome.  Go Ohio State Buckeyes!

 

But I LOVE LOVE LOVE the back. My niece and new son, Kasen, (& family) will love it too. The enzones say "Ohio State" and "Kasen".

Happy Halloween, by the way.  Yesterday I got busy for a few hours after seeing Sunshower Quilts Katrina's blog.  What an awesome inspiration to make some candy corn.  I pulled out my white, yellow, and orange strings and the GO! Baby tumbler die and got busy for a couple of hours.  Look how cute these turned out!
