Scrap Saturday -- Pink

This week I made a few more hourglass blocks.  Cool how Bonnie Hunter announced that the leader/ender challenge for this year is hourglass blocks!  Whoop, whoop!

...and one blue one.

Here's a pink quilt that I am getting ready to longarm for a customer.  I wish it would speak to me on how it wants quilted like the last two did.  I think it's saying to stitch around the applique with the new tool I ordered this week and then do a bunch of stipple in the background and the borders.  I'm not sure what to do in the borders yet.  I'm sure I'll figure it out.

All the blocks are the same design -- and beautiful!  Any suggestions to quilt it would be greatly appreciated.  I could also do an edge-to-edge design on it.

I'm linking up with Angela at SoScrappy for the RSC16.

Oh man, I am stumped! I think small stippling in the backgrounds? squiggly lines down the sashings? good luck!

I'm fairly certain that an edge-to-edge pattern would NOT be the best choice for this applique quilt. Outlining the motifs, stippling in the background, and a leafy vine in the sashing seems appropriate to me. The borders have me stumped. Good luck!!

It's very nice of your customers to participate in the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge and make quilts in the color of the month! And I love your hourglass blocks.
