Flowing in the Breeze Pattern by Beaquilter

Yesterday Bea posted about her new Accuquilt GO! friendly pattern, Flowing in the Breeze.  Accuquilt instructions for this adorable quilt is on the Accuquilt blog here.  It uses the 8" GO! Qube.

I had the privilege to be a pattern tester for Bea who blogs at Beaquilter.  The adorable quilt is called Flowing in the Breeze.  It measures 40" x 48".  My favorite part of the quilt is that it is ALL Accuquilt GO! friendly!  It took me less than an hour to CUT everything for the quilt.

Look at all those pretty points and matched up squares!  Thank you, Accuquilt!

I finished longarming the little beauty yesterday.  I quilted it with bright auqa thread using my Giant Circle Lord Cosmos Board.

Here it is on the frame:

The binding is cut and ready to add.  I just need to trim and bind!

I'm super excited about this project.  I'm linking up with the Tuesday edition of Main Crush Tuesday.

Congrats on your quilt finish! You know, every once in awhile I get the Accuquilt GO! bug and I visit their web site and browse through the die collections. What stops me is that "die-friendly" design imperative -- that once I invested in the die cutter itself plus assorted dies to go with it, I worry that it would limit me creatively because I would feel like I had to only (or mostly) make quilts with die-friendly shapes in die-friendly sizes in order to justify the investment in the die system. Although I do still think that maybe if I could find a used GO! Baby and get the dies for one patch scrap quilts like Apple Core, Clam Shell, and Tumbler...

Man, that cutting time was fast! I have the die cutter and it is a time saver. Congrats on your finish, it will look so pretty when it is completed. I love the quilting design you are using. Thanks so much for sharing this on Main Crush Monday (Tuesday). :)
