Summer Days Winding Down

I haven't been quilting much this summer.  He's still willing to hang out with me for now... the teen thing has begun.  But we have been having a lot of fun.

He willingly had photos taken at the sunflower/corn field.  We got there the day after the storms.

He went "water skiing" for the first time on a special sled/ski with outriggers.  This was awesome. He LOVED it!

Our days visiting Cedar Point (Shores--the waterpark) are winding down as well.  We LOVE it when it's overcast and a light rain.  There aren't any crowds!

Our pool at home has served us well for about 7 or 8 years!  (My husband takes it down at the end of each season and PUTS IT BACK IN THE ORIGINAL BOX.). Yes, he is way more organized than me.  LOL.

Looks like you had a fun day at Cedar Point! A pool at home would have felt great this summer. Your pool should last a long time since your hubby is taking such good care of it. Happy stitching this fall!

That looks like a lot of fun skiing with that outrigger. Skiing is hard! I have done both water and snow. I wish I would have had that special sled to water ski because I kept falling down - no fun.

The summer seemed to fly by this year. It looks like you made the most of it. Our SIL had a chance to visit Cedar Point this summer and loved it.

Glad to see you made use of the summer with Owen. Great memories when it is cold and gray.

Owen seems very at home in the water. The sled/ski looks like a lot of fun. It's nice that he's still willing to pose for photos. By the time my children were in high school they were not happy to be photographed.
