I got just a few more stitches into my Linen & Threads SAL this week--just a few...
I'm told that Owen is way behind on math... But look who figures out his bowling average with ease. He just could care less about what a ray and a perpendicular line is... He loves to do math that makes sense to him.
Kathy's Quilts is the place where the Slow Sunday Stitching group meets each week. I wish I had more fun hand work to show, but this is it... Most of my hand is a green thumb. :)

Beautiful stitching!
Oh man, geometry is my favorite part of math. Owen might enjoy math better by learning the geometry of bowling....the angles needed to change the trajectory of the ball etc. Which way the pins will fly depending on whether you hit the pin straight on or perpendicular or tangent, etc. I bet he would learn more that way. Sorry, I am a math teacher. Your stitching is looking really pretty by the way.
Owen looks quite proud of himself there - love your photo! That green thumb stuff does take up lots of handwork this time of year. Hope you're reaping the benefits!
Math is so important for today's job skills! I hope he can catch up and start enjoying things that are new! I always loved geometry and it's one of the reasons I quilt!
