ALLIETARE! Mystery Monday Link-Up

This year's mystery is off to a great start!  I'm so glad the first clue was a smaller-than-usual clue.  Hi, I'm Kathy from Ohio.  I'm linking up on Bonnie Hunter's blog, Quiltville's Quips & Snips here.

I'm using the colors Bonnie Hunter recommended for the quilt this year.  The only difference is that my "grey" could be considered closer to sea foam green.  But when I look at it from a distance it is light grey.  Here's my cute little 2" (to finish 1.5" in the quilt) HST units:

The process went quickly for me.  I already had a supply of 2" HST cut.  (I'm an Accuquilt girl!)  The fun part about my neutrals is that I only had enough fabric for ONE piece in the whole quilt on some of the fabrics!  Now that's using my scraps wisely!

I do admit that I had some help... Spaghettio face and all. :)  He loves to help cut the units apart.

That is one handsome helper you have. I love it when we can use up the stash. Pretty easy clue, wonder if we will have color next week.

Wish I had a good little helper! Also my first ever mystery quilt. Although I did see you have a section on chickens and was happily sidetracked for a while (also have chickens but only 4 now - smaller garden!)
Have fun everyone!
