WIP Wednesday 11/2/11

Wow, what a busy week.  I feel like I got so much accomplished!  Here's some of the things I have been sewing:

Nine blocks for the November Block Lotto.  This month we are making Scrappy Trip blocks by Bonnie Hunter.  The black in the center is the only color controlled fabric.  The rest--anything goes!  These are big blocks and the winners will most likely get 35 blocks.  That could mean a lot of winners if there are a lot of quilters playing the lotto this month!  Fingers crossed, fingers crossed.

I also completed my November block for The Block Swap Adventure -- ALREADY!!!  It was mailed to Karen in Portland, OR.  Here's a sneak peek of that block:

I mailed my charms for the black, white, and grey swap today!  Whohoo, that's done.  Now I just sit back and wait for the squishy to arrive in the mail.

I am making progress on my Drunkard's Path quilt.  I now have five of the blocks complete.  Things went a lot faster after viewing the tutorial to sew the blocks without pins!  Whohoo!

I have am excited for Bonnie Hunter's annual mystery quilt.  It was announced this week.  I am going to use the fabrics in my stash.  I have a lot of greens and asked my husband to pick a few colors that go with green.  So my mystery colors for Orca Bay will be green, yellow, maroon, and neutrals.  Can't wait.

I completed and mailed the two stockings from last weeks post to Purple Panda Quilts Stockings for Kids Campaign.  That felt good!
