One Main Goal (OMG) for May at Elm Street Quilts

I am setting the bar low this month.  I am doing well today recovering from Covid pneumonia, but I don't want to overdo it.   My OMG for May is to finish the quilt, Owl's Well That Ends Well.

The top is done.  A pieced back in blue scraps has been made.  It needs to be quilted, trimmed, and bound.  I re-sized the blocks and made them smaller to make the pattern more compatible with my Accuquilt dies.  The original pattern is by Judy Gauthier in her book, Quilts for Scrap Lovers.  I also changed positions of some of the wings to mix it up.

I'm linking up at Elm Street Quilts for the May OMG goal setting party.

I love your owls; good luck quilting and binding them.
Covid pneumonia sounds terrible. I hope you're really better soon and back as you were. In any case, take it easy - you can't go the extra mile yet.

My husband took the riding mower from me today. I LOVE to mow. Besides sewing, it's my ME time. But last week I think I may have overdone it mowing. I am feeling better already. Praise God!

Such a cute quilt, Kathy. You will have no trouble completing it this month. I am so sorry that you have been feeling poorly and so glad that you are feeling better . You still need to take it easy and build your strength up. Have a very lovely week.

I am just getting caught up with reading your last few posts and finding out you had covid! Wow! You have been so careful. I hope you are feeling better soon. That is great that Owen and Ed did not get it. Don't worry about any OMGs; just get your rest and feel better!
