More Veggie Patch Blocks

I finished the red Veggie Patch blocks today.  This is a quilt designed by Katie Mae Quilts.  I present two tomatoes and a red bell pepper:

And more good news...  my oxygen levels continue to improve!  It was 97.5 this morning.  I'm still coughing a lot to get this gunk out of my lungs, but it's getting better!  Praise God!

Thanks, Teresa. It's a great way to use my 2.5" scraps!

Red was one of the first colors I started to try to collect. It seemed that I used a lot of it when I started quilting again in 2011. Now I am down to one 30-gallon bin. I'll keep plugging away at it.

I still find that I need a nap now and then, Linda. I think it has to do with the Mucinex that I am taking. I have been listening to my body. If it says I need rest, I rest. It's sort of a blessing that Owen has been very independent and helpful. He's bummed we don't get to play as much. We're lucky the weather has been too wet to ride bikes and such. I really hope to be fully recovered when it's time to get back on our bikes and ride again -- SOON!
