Slow Sunday Stitching -- More Hexies!

I'm starting to really enjoy the process of making English Paper Pieced (EPP) hexagons.  I added this flower to my applique leaves for my  Catchin' Some Rays needle turn applique crib quilt started March, 2018.  These are not the kind of flowers on the pattern, but I thought it would be a fun variation of the quilt.

Here's my stuff during study hall at school.  Kids see me get the container out and think I'm going to give them cookies... Poor kids!

Woohoo!  I just went to Kathy's Quilts to link up and realized that I won the photo challenge last week!  I especially LOVED that camera fat quarter in the giveaway.  Can't wait to chop that up.  I know pieces of it will be in my secret Ohio quilt for sure!!!

Love this flower idea....I have a bundle of these flowers made and haven't really thought how to put them together.....I will be watching as your quilt progresses.

Your flower is very pretty. I think it is great that you are showing the students that you are not just biding your time in their study hall. That is a great way to get some stitching done. Congrats on the fat-quarter win!
