100 Day Challenge With Quilter in the Closet

Instead of joining every quilt along I find on the web this year I'm trying to join challenges to help me stay motivated to finish projects.  Jen, Quilter in the Closet, is having a 100 day challenge.  The challenge is to pick three things you are going to try to F I N I S H in the next 100 days.  You can read more about the challenge on her blog post here.

I'm working on Stars Stripes & Other Stuff quilt for my January OMG! (One Main Goal!) project.  You can read more about that in my blog post here.  So this is my #1.  It needs a back, quilted,  and bound.

#2 is a charity quilt for my local quilt guild.  It's a Sunbonnet Sue quilt.  It's only 15 degrees outside right now and it's kinda stuck on my longarm frame.  (My longarm is in a house that we are building with no building finish date in sight.)  (It isn't heated 100% in there and my longarm skips it it's too cold and doesn't get warmed up properly.)  A day in the 30's makes a big difference.  Let's hope I can get this one off the frame sometime soon.

#3 Quilt Doodle Designs 2016 BOM needs to be completed by the blog hop 1/17 - 1/22/17.  The quilt top is done.  I can participate in the hop.  But I'd really like to have it finished.  I have a back for it.  It needs quilted, bound, and all the embellishments put in place -- which I haven't even decided upon yet (buttons, yo-yo's...)  Again, hoping for a few warm days to be able to use my longarm.

I'm also linking up for Fiber Tuesdays at The Quilting Room with Mel.  It's a fun place to visit every Tuesday to see what others are doing.

You are super busy! These are beautiful! I used to have to work in a cold basement. Had to love it to wear a winter coat and hat and needed to wear gloves. Definitely a time of year to do hand work by the fire. Thanks for coming over to visit Joy's Jots! EnJOYed your comment.
