Twelve UFO Challenge for 2012 - February Project

Twelve UFO Challege for 2012

1) May 2011 Block Lotto Pineapple Blocks
For February I will be working on the pineapple blocks that I won in the May 2011 Block Lotto. Here's where I am with the quilt right now:
To finish this WIP it looks like I need to make one pineapple block, select a sashing (maybe) and border, piece a back, and quilt quilt quilt. I know I will be very happy with this quilt once it's finished. One of the reasons I have been putting it off is time and time to improve my FMQ skills. I think my FMQ skills are ready to take the challenge. Wish me luck!

I really love the one that Blondie from Vintage Primatives finished in August, 2011. Blondie was also a May Block Lotto winner. She has 36 blocks in her quilt, which means I would need to make seven more pineapple blocks. BUT when you look at Blondie's quilt the seven blocks will be will worth it! Look at her beautiful sashing too! Here's the link to her quilty post: http://vintageprims.blogspot.com/2011/08/finished.html

Luckily, Blondie was also one of my Block Swap Adventure partners. She had great communication and was a super-fun partner. Not to mention sent me a really sweet block!
Judy at Patchwork Times is having a UFO challege for 2012.  I'm in.  This is right up my ally for my 2012 goal.  http://www.patchworktimes.com/2012-ufo-challenge/
