Adjective Day at School -- Quick...I need a costume!-- Accuquilt to the Rescue!

It's right to read week at our son's elementary school.  The theme for today is to dress up as an adjective.  I didn't want to send him to school dressed in one color to be "brown" for the day.

It was Accuquilt GO! Feathers die to the rescue.  It is die #55008.  I felt the little shapes could easily be raindrops.  Here's my favorite adjective (and perfectly fitting for our Ohio weather), RAINY.

Moving it Forward Monday

I made another block for the Block Lotto late last night.  Woohoo... I'm happy that I am finding a new time to sew!  Poor quality pic, it looks like beige, but it's really green on green next to grey.

March 4, Stitching more leaves.

I'm starting to get excited about thinking on which embroidery project I shall work on next.  But for now I keep stitching on my current crib quilt.
