Finish-A-Long 2017 Q2 Goal Setting

It's time to set some new goals for the 2017 Finish-A-Long for Q2.  I'm so excited that I had a productive Q1 of NINE finishes!!!  This quarter I am linking up with Izzy at Dizzy Quilts .  There are several blogs on which you can link and they all go towards the FAL.

I know I have five customer quilts coming soon and will have to take a "commercial break" to finish those.  I promise to get right back into working on finishing UFO's.  Here's a list of what is on my finishes for Q2 list:

Quilt Doodle Designs 2016 BOM needs to be finished.

It was my March APQS goal to get my RSC15 Sawtooth Sampler complete, but Spring Break was more about having fun with our son instead of longarm quilting.  At least in March I did get the other five Sawtooth blocks made, assembled the top, and started the quilting on it.  It's still on the longarm frame as of today.  That's much better than just being a pile of blocks missing some friends!

Expect a cute little finishes too.  This is a medium sized house block quilt.  Will be cute on the wall.

The Underpants Project.

\
Tumbler Rug needs back and longarmed:

I hope to have all the little round buds sewn by hand on this Homestead Harvest (pattern by Kim Diehl) and then find a back, quilt, and bind by the end of the school year.

I won some heart blocks from Linda at Art In Search that were up for adoption at Quilting Is More Fun Than Housework.  Cynthia hosts this event on her blog.  I am also setting this as my April OMG goal and then plan to donate this happy quilt for the H2H quilt drive this year.  Blocks need to be put into rows and then a border added.  A colorful pieced back will be made.  It will also need quilted and bound to be finished.

I dug out these blocks for Sonja's Windows.  I made all these blocks 1.1.15.

Big O (blocks won 12.31.14 Block Lotto) -- needs quilted and bound.

Spangled Stars QA -- It's a big one!  Needs a big back made and quilted and bound.

Fortune Teller
I started these blocks with the RSC14.  The blocks are beautiful.  I need to make more of them and put them in a quilt.

D9P from Local Quilt Guild
These are the blocks I received at the 2016 Christmas party with my local quilt guild.  My theme was grey blocks with red centers.  Many of us in the group made two blocks for everyone in the swap.

Picadilly Circle
I need to work and finish my Picadilly Circle blocks.  I started this project with the RSC14.  The quilt will be smaller than I like, but it would be a nice quilt to show in the county fair.  They look like this:

Welcome Home Sampler
Still needs a block made and all put together

Thank you for sharing your WIPs. It helped me be brave and list mine. It was great actually listing them. You have so many neat projects. I really like the Sawtooth Sampler.

Now that is a "list" - good luck on getting through it.

Oh my gosh!! Your Sawtooth Sampler is so gorgeous. And Kathy, you're a woman after my own heart. :D My UFO list is quite similar. Working on shrinking it, but I haven't completely blocked myself from the rare new project that grabs my whole heart. Greetings from Colorado - found you at the Finish Along link-up.

I thought my list was aggressive! HA! You have beautiful projects here...I'm especially fond of the blue winter quilt and, of course, the underpants! Good luck this quarter!

I'm not going to lie, I am surprised to meet a quilter with more "started" projects than myself. I have been working hard to cross things off the list and have come SO FAR the past three years. I do still manage to start a few new ones each year too. Oh well, if it makes us happy we will press on!
I love the quilt with the buildings in it - I have always loved quilts with houses. Your Fortune Teller quilt is a fabulous way to use up those scraps and it will be gorgeous! It does look like a lot of little pieces though. I also favor the winter row quilt. I have designed several row quilts and just love them all!

What lovely projects! I see many that are the same kind of thing I like to do. That Quilt Doodles Christmas in blues is great, and the Homestead Harvest is lovely, too. Well, they're all wonderful, but those two stood out to me ... and Spangled Stars.
