The Garden Party Continues

Let's keep the Garden Party (pattern by Bonnie Hunter) rolling.  Here's 29 more connecting blocks that I made this week.  I'm really having fun with jumping out of my comfort zone by using all these fun neutrals.  There's no turning back for me now.  I love them all and they all are working for me.

I can see money neutrals, a leg, a bird's nest, flowers, a black/white scene, swirls...  Oh so fun!

You can find this pattern in the latest book by Bonnie Hunter called Addicted to Scraps.  I was afraid of all those little red squares and blocks set on point and the side triangles.  But this pattern has totally changed my mind.  I LOVE making the side blocks now.  They line up nicely.

This quilt was supposed to be done for one of my BFFs for her birthday in May.  Shhhh.  It's a secret.  Since I didn't get it done then, I'm hoping it will be a surprise Christmas present.

I'm linking up with Angie in So Cal at A Quilting Reader's Garden for WIPS be gone.  She has a regular linky party.  I plan to attend often!

I have trouble using ALL the neutrals, but your quilt is proof that it REALLY works!!
