You've had a productive week! The red basket blocks are very pretty, it will be interesting to see how you put them together. Happy stitching!
Tall fly is a lovely finish; gingham and backing fabrics were great choices;))
nice work! Red baskets are looking good, too hugs, Julierose
The Tall Fly blocks are so interesting, and look just great in those colors. What a fun quilt. You made great use of so many red blocks.
That is a really unique block, and they made a beautiful quilt! Fun to see your other red blocks getting used up, too. Love the basket blocks especially!
Haven't you done well! A finished quilt, two flimsies, and a bunch of basket blocks for consideration.
Beautiful Tall Fly finish, Kathy! I love the fun gingham binding. I have just finished a quilt, using gingham binding too. Love your flimsies and your basket blocks are really pretty. Looking forward to see what you are doing with them.
Your finished "TallFly" model is absolutely beautiful, and I especially love the striped binding to.
The two little ones are also very pretty – it's fun to sew quick little things now and then.
Exactly – just make more basket blocks... :-)))
I'm working on some stars experiments... :-)))
Have fun sewing and a happy Sunday.
Hug Viola
I love the Tall Fly quilt!
You are right, that gingham fabric makes the perfect binding. Love how it suggests length, too. A nod to the blocks.
