WIP Wednesday 3.5.14
Lots of doctor/dentist appointments for our family this week. It was all "maintenance", all is well. It's still cold here. I did manage to get quite a few things done. Check it out!
I finished a kite girl block for the RSC14. Teal is the color this month.

I finished longarm quilting this string quilt for our local quilt guild.

I set my A Lovely Year of Finishes March goal to finish my Star Surround quilt.

I'm caught up on the Star Light Star Bright QA. This little quilt will be a table topper.

I finished the March block for the Classic Meets Modern BOM at Sew at Home Mummy

I finished the block for March for the Pat Sloan Globetrotting QA. This is the Chicago block.

Here's the Big Tree block I made for the Quilt Doodle Designs BOM Mystery. Isn't it adorable -- especially when connected to the cabin? I can't wait to see what else is in this row.

Quilt Doodle Designs BOM - March
Here's the March BOM for the Quilt Doodle Designs Mystery quilt. These blocks are so cute! It's called Big Tree.
Oopseedoo!
When I went to attach the tree to the cabin I realized that I forgot a row of the tree.
There, this is better:
And when put together with the cabin, it's so adorable! I can't wait to see what else is in that row!

March Goal Setting
I'm linking up with A Lovely Year of Finishes goal setting party at Fiber of All Sorts and Sew BitterSweet Designs with my finish goal for March. I hope to finish my Star Surround QA quilt (QA with Melissa Cory at Happy Quilting blog) from 2013. I had it on the frame, but I just can't seem to get it finished. Hopefully this will motivate me to finish it and find a happy home for it. Here are a couple pics of it:

As you can see, the grass was green when this quilt top was finished. Everything is covered with snow now. Time to get this one done.

It's being quilted with Circle Lord Swirls.

Classic Meets Modern March BOM
Here's my block for March for the Classic Meets Modern BOM. I LOVE it!
The center circle looks a little off. I don't think it will matter when the quilt is all done. I'm going to leave it as is, but make sure I have this block in my favorites.

I'm linking it up at Erin's blog the Sew at Home Mummy. Check out how the others made this block modern. Here's our flickr group link too.
