I put the finishing touches on my churn dash quilt yesterday. It measures 46" square.
I've had these blocks for a few years from the Block Swap Adventure. During the RSC yellow month I decided to use yellow scraps for sashing and a pieced back. I used yellow thread for the quilting. I longarm quilted the design called Dewdrops in the Garden by Urban Elementz to quilt it. This design seems very versatile. As you can see our snow was washed away by a bunch of rain. Spring is coming!
I got up early this morning to have a day of sewing. The house is clean, the laundry is done, I'll have the crockpot cookin' by 11am. Sew, baby, sew!

A very cute finish! That quilting design does look very versatile and perfect for this quilt.
That turned out great! I love how you tied all the blocks together with the yellow sashing. It's a really happy quilt!
I love how you interpreted the RSC yellow month as your sashing color to finish up this project! Dewdrops in the Garden looks fantastic on your churn dash, too -- so cheery and playful. Thanks for linking up with TGIFF!
Gorgeous finish! It looks like it wants to be hugged. Spring is coming, been a long winter. Second shot today, so hoping things open up and I can travel to Ohio Amish country again. You are doing great!
Excellent way to use up some fabric scraps and chunks, while finishing up a UFO, Kathy!! Nice work.
Crock pot cooking is always a good idea on a busy sewing day!
Very nice! I hope you had a good sewing day.
Such a cheerful, fun baby quilt, Kathy! The Dewdrops in the garden adds a lot of movement and joy, too! I hope you were able to enjoy your sewing day!
A nice use for the blocks--cute quilt!
