Scrap Saturday -- Yellow Kite Girl & FNSI Results

I met my goal for the FNSI last night.  I made a yellow kite girl for the RSC14.

The block pattern can be found at Q is for Quilter blog.

I'm linking up with Angela at SoScrapy: ScrapHappy blog.

Look what I have accomplished with these blocks just playing with scraps in the RSC14!

...and of course, I can't forget the picture with the quilt helper.

Pretty maids all in a row. Doesn't that sound like a good name for the quilt? :)
It's the first thought that came to me when I saw them all lined up. Lovely.

These look like they would be difficult. I would have a hard time getting the pieces stitched together in the right order and direction. They are lovely!

What a cute pattern and idea for the scrappy challenge. I've never seen that one before.

I love seeing all your blocks together! It always amazes me when I lay out all the block around mid year to see how much I have gotten done. A beautiful quilt in progress.
