Scrap Saturday -- Last Yellow

This week I worked on a few flying geese blocks for my scrappy Wanderlust blocks (by Bonnie Hunter).  The pattern can be found in Quiltmaker Magazine July/August '14 No. 158.  Here are my yellow center stars:

Below is what two Wanderlust blocks look like.

  1. This looks like a really complicated block Kathy, but a great way to use up scraps from other projects. Will you make all the stars yellow?

  2. Wow what a great block, looks complicated. I haven't had time to look thru my magazine yet but did see her quilt on the cover.

  3. Great start to your new quilt. Looks like you have a few more steps to enjoy before your blocks are done.

  8. Ok! This "Bonniac" is loving these blocks, but we kinda knew that would be my response right? I mean, I currently have Split 9 Patches to put together, Tobacco Rd to put together, Celtic Solstice to get the borders on, Wild & Goosey blocks in progress and now as of this weekend, a Scrappy Spider Web...ALL Bonnie Hunter....OMG! Wanderlust is next and then Lazy Sunday!
