WIP Wednesday 1.27.16

Not a lot happened this week in my quilting world.  I schedule a day or two off to sew and someone calls and needs me to work for them.  I am really enjoying my new job.  I guess I'll sew in the summer when I'm not at the waterpark.  :)  It won't be long until the sunshine is here!!!

Here's what happened this week...

I made this adorable Aurifil 2016 Designer BOM block.  This block is called Swirl Away.  It was designed by Heather Valentine.

I also made a Folk Art Birds block from Kathy Doughty's book, Making Quilts during the FNSI.

I'm linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced today at http://www.freshlypieced.com/

Looking cool. That pinwheel with the squares is really neat.
