Scrap Saturday -- Last Yellow

This week I worked on a few flying geese blocks for my scrappy Wanderlust blocks (by Bonnie Hunter).  The pattern can be found in Quiltmaker Magazine July/August '14 No. 158.  Here are my yellow center stars:

Below is what two Wanderlust blocks look like.

This looks like a really complicated block Kathy, but a great way to use up scraps from other projects. Will you make all the stars yellow?

Wow what a great block, looks complicated. I haven't had time to look thru my magazine yet but did see her quilt on the cover.

Great start to your new quilt. Looks like you have a few more steps to enjoy before your blocks are done.

Beautiful blocks. They look difficult to piece. Love the colors.

THat's going to be a great quilt when it's finished. Love how you are using it as part of the rainbow challenge xx

So many little parts in there. Some very sunny yellow stars you created.

Ok! This "Bonniac" is loving these blocks, but we kinda knew that would be my response right? I mean, I currently have Split 9 Patches to put together, Tobacco Rd to put together, Celtic Solstice to get the borders on, Wild & Goosey blocks in progress and now as of this weekend, a Scrappy Spider Web...ALL Bonnie Hunter....OMG! Wanderlust is next and then Lazy Sunday!

oh my gosh, am loving the Wanderlust blocks. Thinking I might make some of those myself one of these days!
