Perfect for a parade

Nothing really quilty happened yesterday.  But I do love this picture of my son as he waits for the parade to start.  I love the fact of taking a quilt and putting it on the ground instead of lawn chairs.  It gives my son a little bit more space than the lawn chairs and sometimes people throw the candy on it.  He's also sitting next to the bag that I constantly take with me that I won on Julie's blog.

January Block Lotto Eclipse quilt.  I just LOVE this quilt!  I think it has me leaning towards more modern stuff.  Here's a great idea of another modern block that I love with a tutorial from Sew Sweetness:

I would love to add this photo to the gallery on the block lotto ... With your permission?

Kathy you did a great job of finishing out this quilt with the blank spaces as needed. I was wondering if you were feeding your son dog food, LOL.

Actually, Mimi, Grower Finisher is for cattle. I LOVE the bag that I won on Julie's blog. It's an upcycle thing. The bag is holding his bucket to collect candy, sunscreen, juice boxes... Great bag! Then to top it off there's room for the rolled up quilt.
