Yesterday a friend came over. She wanted to learn how to sew. Specifically, she wanted to learn to sew a tutu. I have never sewn a tutu. I looked at all the tutorials and was sure I would show her how to make the no-sew version. When she arrived she showed me a purchased tutu. It was tons more adorable than the ones with just strips (although they are cute too!)
Here granddaughter LOVES Olaf from Frozen. Her daughter sent me a photo of something she found on Pinterest. Sorry I do not have a reference for the original photo. She only sent a photo on facebook.
Here's what we made:
I can't wait to see it on our little model. I also can't wait to see what hairbow Grandma makes to go with it! The face is felt appliqued to a onsie. The eyes are applique felt and buttons. Too fun!
Now we have NY Yankees and a Cleveland Browns tutu to be made.
I'm happy to link up with Richard and Tanya Quilts for the Link-A-Finish FRIDAY.
