Slow Sunday Stitching

A few leaves were stitched in place again this week.  It's more than I had!

The end of this little quilt is shaping up!  The leaves aren't perfect, but it's cute and it's MINE!

This is a quilt pattern by Kim Diehl called Small Stuff.  It will be a cute table topper for our kitchen table.  I definitely need more practice on these leaves.  But it will still be perfect.

Linking up with Kathy at Kathy's Quilts for Slow Sunday Stitching.

I love Kim's patterns the applique added to pieced blocks is just wonderful Leaves aren't perfect and applique should be organic and not perfect. That is what gives applique quilts their charm

Focus on the photo of the overall piece. It's looking really good! Applique, by hand or machine, has a definite learning curve. Just keep practicing!!
