Pat Sloan's Solstice Challenge Block 9/25
I'm keeping up with Pat Sloan's Solstice Challenge. Here's Block #9 of 25. It is called Among the Stars. I made the center block solid instead of pieced. Some of the blocks I made with flying geese vs. HST's. From across the room the has the same design as Pat's. Finished size of this block is 32".

Very nice.
Good job. I know that is a big block -- how big is it. I have so many UFOs that I tend not to do challenges or quilt alongs. It makes sense to do flying geese -- probably faster and eliminates some bulky seams. I like it!
That is one really block and it looks great.
